In college I drove PCH regularly on my way to and from school, and the sunset above is one of the reasons I loved the commute. I had to stop on the side of the road this day to take a picture.

Yes, I think he is beautiful. Yes, I can be known to become a puddle of goo (in which case the hug greeting might not work) when I see him in concert. But all that really is secondary when I consider the fact that this man is such a smart, incredibly talented, passionate guitarist and writer.
You all can make fun of me if you wish. But I remember hearing him on the radio for the first time in early 2002, making it a point to remember his name. Six years later he does not fail to deliver. He makes me proud to be a fan.
