In chronological order:

1) Had my last science lab this morning. This means I no longer have to wake up early on Wednesday mornings!

2) Got an email this afternoon saying I'm going to be assigned a single room in the dorms next year. That's right, folks, a place of my own! It will be small, but I don't give a hang.

3) Ran into two of my classmates on the way to class. They told me our class was canceled. I went back to my room and finished the third illustration for my children's book assignment. Now I'm done with homework for the day and it's only 6:00 PM!

O glorious day...

This is so frustrating. I did really bad on the math section of the GRE, so I took the practice GRE (which seems like a joke compared to the real thing now) to get practice with it in case I decide to take it again. I was looking at the brochure that comes with the folder they gave us, and the prices for the classes they offer are just insane. They range from $999 (under a grand, what a deal!) to just over $4300 for the "comprehensive options." Do I look like I'm made of money? Okay, so I know you can't actually see me, but if you could, the answer would be no. The deciding factor for my being here today to even take the practice test was the fact that it was FREE. If I sign up to take the classes on campus, it's $1149. If I sign up today, I save $150. Like that will make a huge difference, because I just know every one of us showed up today with a thousand bucks to shell out for their stupid classes. Geez.
